Lineage: AUD>CAM>?>low gen VHS > VCR > analog out > flac |
Notes: 2 seperate versions, transferred from 2 different generations of the same source. While the first is higher generation, it is not flawed with sync artifacts, that the 2nd lower gen sources has. Frequency analysis of both close to identical, with a small spike at 15.7kHz. FIRST SOURCE: 3rd Generation VHS > JVC HR-9800U deck hi-fi playback > M-Audio 2496 Delta > Steinberg Wavelab > CDWave > FLAC VHS tape is also an excellent medium to trade audio. With a good VCR you can put a long continuous show onto one tape with very good bandwidth and quality compared to analog cassette. A kind trader loaned his 3rd-gen VHS video of this show for transfer to DVD. This is a separate A>D transfer specifically for cd audio with playback on a top-of-the-line hi-fi deck. THIS AUDIO WAS 'LOCKED' TO THE VIDEO, HENCE THE CLICKS DUE TO SAMPLE SKIPPING TO KEEP SYNC. IE - THIS IS NOT THE BEST TRANSFER THAT IT COULD BE! PREFERABLY, DO NOT TRADE...
